Health - our role at Aylesbury Vale District Council

We want everyone living and working in Aylesbury Vale, of all ages, to have a healthy life.

Although the Health Service plays a vital role in treating illness, other everyday factors can determine how healthy we are, for example, employment, income, housing, diet , exercise and social networks.

  • Leisure and Community
  • Employment and economic development
  • Planning for future growth and development
  • Community Safety
  • Environmental health
  • Parks and open spaces
  • Housing
  • Community and Voluntary Sector Grants
